What is a Full-Time Day Nanny?

A full-time day nanny is a dedicated and consistent caregiver assigned to your family. She is an employee of NannyPro, ensuring quality care is delivered at the family's residence home.

Full-time nannies partner with parents to meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of the children. Depending on the parent’s care requirements and the age of the child, the nanny is to establish the daily routine and ensures a nurturing safe environment for the infant or child entrusted with.

At NannyPro, our nannies are carefully screened, onboarded with a detailed skills training to ensure that they have the relevant experience needed to look after infants. A nanny’s salary is based on several factors. These include relevant years of caregiving experience, education certification or skills, duties and responsibilities. Proximity to the family’s residence home plays an important part in deciding the monthly salary.

Upon identifying a suitable assigned nanny, Parents is encouraged to do a trial. NannyPro will enter into a service engagement agreement upon a successful trial. This service agreement will outline all the terms and conditions.

Full-time day nanny works on an average of 8 to 10 hours per day, commute to your residence and on a live-out arrangement. The typical standard working days is Monday to Friday only. Weekends or public holidays are non-working days and subjected to extra weekends or public holidays rates, If you plan to engage her.

The typical duration of a full-time nanny can be a minimum of 1 month, over 20 working days on a renewable monthly basis.

Nanny’s Scope of Duties - Major Responsibilities

Supervise the infant & child’s activities at all times

Plan and prepare meals, bottles for, and feed the infant & child.

Bathe & dress the infant & child

Place the infant & child down for naps and bedtime

Change diapers

Play with the infant & child, both indoors and outdoors

Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the children

Administer medicine to the children at the full knowledge and permission of parents.

Perform chores related to infant care, including washing the children’s clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing and sterilizing bottles.
