What is a Full-Time Day Nanny?

A full-time day nanny is employed as a contract employee of NannyPro, assigns to a family upon the confirmation of engagement by clients which we refer to as parents. Nannies provide infant care in the family’s residence home.

Full-time nannies partner with parents to meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of the children. Depending on the age of the child and the family’s needs, the nanny is the adhere and establish the daily routine of the infant or child. They typically do the infant’s laundry, keep the infant’s areas neat and clean, prepare meals and snacks for the infants and put the infant down for naps. The joy of being new parents is second to none. Amidst the excitement, we are sure that you would want to keep your little bundle of joy in the care of someone you can trust while you work hard to provide for your newborn. Full-time day nanny work on average 40 to max 45 hours daily commute to work each day as a live-out nanny. They are subjected to overtime pay if parents decide to keep them outside their standard hours. The typical workday are from Monday to Friday only, they are subjected to Public Holiday entitlement. Weekend engagement is subjected to extra fee.

Our nannies are carefully screened to ensure that they have the relevant experience needed to look after infants.. We know how tired and busy new parents are and we hope to take this load off your mind. A nanny’s salary is based on several factors. These include education, experience, certification or skills, references, duties and responsibilities. Proximity to the family’s residence home plays an important part in deciding the monthly salary.

Parents will enter into a service engagement agreement with NannyPro and hire the nanny through us. This service agreement will outline all the terms and conditions

The typical duration of a full-time nanny can be a minimum of 2 months to an ongoing basis.

Nanny’s Scope of Duties - Major Responsibilities

Supervise the infant & child’s activities at all times

Plan and prepare meals, bottles for, and feed the infant & child.

Bathe & dress the infant & child

Place the infant & child down for naps and bedtime

Change diapers

Play with the infant & child, both indoors and outdoors

Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the children

Administer medicine to the children at the full knowledge and permission of parents.

Perform housework related to infant care, including washing the children’s clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing and sterilizing bottles.
